The Luís de Camões Lyrics presents a research’s large field for those who wants to investigate the relationship between poetry and knowledge. But it is mainly in his Songs, a noble genre according to the coordinates of sixteenth-century humanism, that we recognize the formulation of a new knowledge about the world, specially in those wich dramatize his biographical journey, conceding to life’s experience an important role in the construction of a personal poetics, between tradition and modernity.
