Abstract

Em 1598, pela primeira vez, foram impressos, na tipografia de Pedro Craesbeeck e pelo livreiro Estevão Lopez, em Lisboa, os Poemas Lusitanos, de António Ferreira. Comemoramos os quatrocentos anos da edição princepsatra­vés de uma leitura (1) da relação de Ferreira com o mestre Sá de Miranda e (2) da sua célebre defesa da língua portuguesa.
