Abstract

The language fulfills a fundamental role in the process of dominating the Other. Once the other being inferior, either inferior will be it's language. Concerning the portuguese travellers of the sixteen's century it wasn't different: native's language crossed by those travellers was always treated like a "rough" instrument, unable, therefore, to produce abstract concepts like the God one, for what it should be replaced.
