Abstract

Luiz Camillo, a Brazilian historian born in Minas Gerais, travels to Portugal in 1937. ln Lisbon, he works in The National Historical Archives and the Torre do Tombo with the purpose of finding documents related to Brazilian History and the organization of a overall plan of research. He microfilms codices, documents and rate books and brings them back to Brazil.

Mestre em Filosofia e Doutora em Literatura Brasileira pela PUC-Rio. Autora do livro Fernando de Azevedo - Educação e Transformação (Perspectiva, 1986), aquinhoado com o Prêmio "Grandes Educadores Brasileiros" do INEP.
