Abstract

To begin with, there is a brief contextualization of the work of the Portuguese poet Luís Filipe Castro Mendes, whose focus goes beyond the socio-political themes that greatly reverberate in the writing of his contemporaries. In his writing, he emphasizes a more private and intimate look at the reality that surrounds him. Below, we present the interview, carried out in March 2024, with the aim of allowing the reader to understand some of the tracks of his poetic work, which has already spanned more than forty years of production.

É doutoranda em Estudos Literários – Teoria da Literatura e Literatura Comparada pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Estudos Literários (POSLIT) pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). É mestra em Estudos Clássicos pela Universidade de Coimbra e bolsista em pesquisa na área de crítica textual pela Fundação Casa de Rui Barbosa.
